Beet & Berry Smoothie

This is one of our family's favorite smoothie recipes. It's a great balance of vegetables, citrus, fat, and high-water content fruit to keep sugar low and nutrients high.

TIME: 10 MIN | YEILD: 32 OUNCES

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 large apple, cored (red or green)

  • 2 stalks celery

  • 1/2 large cucumber, peeled if desired

  • 1 cup frozen berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries)

  • 1/4 small avocado (optional)

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • 1 tablespoon of Beet Crystals

  • 1 teaspoon Aloe Life Daily Greens (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a high-power blender like a Vitamix and blend until it is smooth.
