Cranberry Orange Sauce

TIME: 15 MIN | YIELD: 2 CUPS 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 12 ounce package of whole fresh cranberries

  • 1 cup apple juice

  • Zest of 1 orange

  • Juice of 1 orange

  • 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger

  • 3/4 cup raw honey

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a low boil.

  2. Simmer for 10 minutes or until cranberries are bursting and desired texture is achieved.

  3. Remove from stove and allow to cool.

  4. Enjoy warm or cold!

NOTES:

May substitute half the amount of honey by mixing in 1/8 teaspoon powdered stevia or more to your desired taste at the end of cooking time.
